Tonight I talked about life. God has created us to live the best life possible and the best life is found under God’s authority. Here is what we discussed:
1. The quality of our life is our choice
2. God wants us to have the best life possible
3. God expects great things from us in this life.
Live life to its fullest, in the freedom of God’s authority. See you next week!
Our Time Conference Reflection

Something fantastic happens when women get together! There is laughter. There is connection. There is unity. There is sisterhood.
We are still basking in the glow of the wonderful time we had at the Our Time Conference on Friday night. If only for one night, our worlds collided in the most significant way. We were able to be a blessing to the Go Red for Women Campaign which raises awareness and education for women’s heart health. We raised so many supplies and funds to help Advocates to End Domestic Violence. Your generosity overflowed!
I love this verse in Ephesians 1:6, where it says, “Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.” (the message)
From the beautiful men whisking us around in pearl embellished golf carts, to greeting us, to giving us gifts, to serenading us, we felt like blessed, daughters of the King! Holly brought God’s Word to us and it was amazing! We are so grateful that she came.

Never forget that you are precious and loved daughters of the Most High King. It’s because of Him that we find strength and courage to live our best life, right now, in Our Time. I’m so happy I get to live my destiny with you! Love you, Connie

Our Time volunteers are busy today putting all the gifts together for the Conference next week. We are so excited for what God is going to do in the lives of His daughters. We have learned that once you understand how valued you are as a daughter of the King, it is then that you have a compelling desire to be VALUABLE!
You are valuable to the Kingdom of God when you serve others. When you reach out and love others in need, like the women from Advocates to End Domestic Violence, when you care enough to be a part of bringing awareness of taking care of your heart through the Go Red for Women campaign. We want to express our value to God by loving one another.
I pray that as each woman recieves her gifts at the Our Time Conference, they recieve a glimmer of God’s love. After all, it is just a fraction of the love given to us by the Father. I pray that even today, as you go through your day you allow God to open your eyes to those in need of the touch of God’s love through you. You are amazing and loved! See you very soon! Connie
Kids U

Kids U is scheduled for March 13-14, 2009. Kids U is held at a church in Modesto, CA and is attended by churches from Northern California and Nevada. This is a great opportunity for kids to meet people from other churches and show what talents they have. This will be our 5th year attending kids U and we are very excited to go back. Practices for Kids U are currently being held on Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30. If there is anyone who would like to show a talent at Kids U Pastor Sue would be happy to help you get registered.

We are continuing to talk about the “Best Sex Ever”. In our last discussion we talked about the fact the God is not down on sex, he is down on pain. And in His plan sex is best experienced in the context of marriage. However when we engage in sex outside of the context of marriage there are repercussions.

Our Time Women’s Conference

It’s only 18 days away! Our fabulous Our Time Conference, you know. I’ve already heard from so many of you beautiful girls, how God is preparing your hearts in anticipation of joining us that evening. I’m praying that we will catch a glimpse of God’s glory that night. From the moment we drive into the parking lot, to the moment the message is shared, to the very second we end our party and clean up the campus, God will meet us here.
I’ve had such a wonderful response from so many people all over town who have viewed our new Our Time commercial! When you hear about it from someone, don’t forget to INVITE them to come with you! The purpose of Our Time is not just about us. It’s about sharing with others the fact that God’s love has found us! I’m so excited we get the chance to share the message with so many more people through this opportunity.
This morning I read this verse in the Message Bible and just love it! Psalm 116:16, “Lift high the cup or salvation – a toast to God…here I am…set me free for your service.”
I never want to forget that is why I was saved…to serve. You too, you know. Find that spot where God gives you purpose and meaning by serving. I can’t wait to serve and celebrate together with you on February 20th.
